— Transparency in Small Matters

Cookie Policy

Cookies are small files placed on your device when you visit a website. We use a modest number of them. This page explains each category plainly, together with the controls available to you.

Last Updated: 14 April 2025 [email protected]

§ I

What Are Cookies

A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device — your computer, tablet, or telephone — when you visit. It may be read on subsequent visits to remember a preference, to record that a consent choice has been made, or to help us understand how visitors use the site in aggregate.

Cookies do not contain your name or contact details. The information they record is limited to what is described in this policy. You may decline optional cookies, though doing so may affect the operation of certain features.

§ II

Cookie Categories We Use

Essential Always Active

Required for the website to function. They enable basic operations such as recording consent preferences and maintaining session continuity. You cannot decline these, as without them the site would not operate as intended.

Examples: cookieConsent, sessionId

Analytics Optional

Help us understand how visitors engage with the site — which pages are read, how long is spent on each, and how visitors arrive. This data is aggregated and does not identify individual visitors. We use it to improve the content and structure of the site.

Examples: _ga, _gid (Google Analytics)

Preference Optional

Remember settings you have selected — such as language or display preferences — so that they persist between visits. Without these, you may need to re-establish your settings each time you visit.

Examples: lang, display-mode

Marketing Optional

Used for advertising personalisation and tracking. We do not currently deploy marketing or advertising cookies on this website. This category is listed here for transparency and in anticipation of any future third-party services we may add.

Current status: not in use

§ III

Third-Party Cookies

Where we use third-party services that place cookies on your device, we list the relevant services below. These providers maintain their own privacy policies, which govern how they handle data collected through their cookies.

  • Google Analytics — analytics service provided by Google LLC; places analytics cookies to record aggregate usage patterns. Google Privacy Policy
  • Google Maps — used on our homepage to display our office location; may place functional cookies. Google Privacy Policy

We do not use social media tracking cookies or advertising network cookies at this time.

§ V
